Masaza Competitions Safety and Security Course Take Centre Stage on Day 2.

With its main goal being capacity building amongst all the stakeholders, the Masaza Competitions Safety and Security course has entered its second day, currently taking place at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

The course, that got underway on Thursday 15th, September 2022, will climax on Saturday 17th, September 2022.

Over forty (40) participants from Gomba, Mawokota, Ssingo, Bulemeezi, Buddu, Buwekula, Busiro, Kyaggwe and Kyadondo are taking part in the course, which is fully funded by the Buganda Kingdom.

FUFA EXCOM member, Mr Ronnie Kalema, FUFA Human Recourse and Capacity Building Manager, Mr Jackson Nyiima, and FUFA Deputy CEO/ CAF Safety & Security Officer, Mr Humphrey Mandu, took the participants through Day One.

Day Two, on the other hand, is being facilitated by CAF Safety & Security Officer, Hajji Ssekabira, FUFA Deputy CEO/ CAF Safety & Security Officer, Mr Humphrey Mandu, plus FUFA EXCOM members, Mr Sam Mpiima and Mr Ronnie Kalema.

Program of the Course:

Day One (Thursday 15th, September 2022): FUFA and its development, match organization, safety and security (both theory and practical).

Day Two (Friday 16th, September 2022): Safety & security in Masaza Competitions, and laws of the game (practical).

Day Three (Saturday 17th, September 2022): Football competitions, awarding certificates and the closing ceremony.
