Ekisakaate 2021: Venue, Dates Revealed Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic

The Minister of Information in Buganda government revealed the dates and the venue where the Ekisaakaate Kya Nnabagereka 2021 will be held.

Owek. Noah Kiyimba has confirmed that Nnabagereka Development Foundation has decided to host the long awaited Ekisaakaate kya Nnabagereka 2021 from 14th to 19th June 2021 at Bulange.

While addressing media on Wednesday 5th May 2021 at Bulange Mengo, the information minister said; “I am here to announce that Nnabagereka Development Foundation in partnership with Finance Trust Bank we shall host this years Ekisaakaate.

This time round the Kisakaate will be for students who are in vacation as Minister states.

“The 2021 Nnabagereka Kisakaate will have only children who are in Primary Seven, Senior four and Senior six vacation.

This year’s Kisaakaate was meant to be held in the first two weeks of January but was postponed due to the adjustment of School calendar prompted by Covid 19” He explained.

“Given that the government eased COVID 19 restrictions and children have just completed their final examinations, they are at home that is why we believe we should hold Ekisaakaate kya Nnabagereka”

Unlike the previous Ekisaakaate this year it will be none residential, the parents will be dropping off the Basaakaate on daily basis” Minister said.

The confirmation of the dates has meant that the registration has started on Wednesday with every Musaakaate (child) will have to pay 150,000 and the registration shall be online via Nnabagereka development foundation website and link shall be shared on Social media.
