Women Football: She Corporate Skipper, Vaneasa Karungi Flies To Denmark for Greener Pastures

Uganda Crested Cranes third choice goalie and She Corporate’s Skipper, Vanessa Karungi Edith early this morning flown to Denmark for professional football career.

The 2017 Women’s Cup winner and best goalie, same year, Vanessa Karungi Edith went to join a Denmark Women football side, B93 Copenhagen.

Karungi joined Boldklubben af 1893 women football Club, a Danish Women League division two club on a one year loan with option of signing permanent contract basing on her performance.

Vanessa joined a crop of Ugandan women footballers who are plying their trade in Europe, the likes of Sandra Nantumbwe who is in Iceland, Viola Nambi in Sweden Natasha

Boldklubben af 1893 is a club based in Copenhagen, featuring in the second division of the Women’s football in Denmark. The league comprises of 6 teams which and it is played in a round robin format where the two best teams advance to the top tier which is called Elitedivisionen in Denmark.
