Two big teams face off on Friday evening as Vipers SC host SC Villa at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende in game that will be played on floodlights.
Vipers SC have won two games and drew once in the first three opening games, beating Gaddafi FC and Arua Hill before sharing spoils with Mbarara City in a goalless draw in the third game.
SC Villa started the season with a narrow defeat to Kitara, shared spoils with Maroons in the second game and bounced back with 3-0 convincing win against NEC FC in the previous game.
Last season, Vipers snatched the league title on the last day as SC Villa painfully lost to URA FC and today’s fixture could be a revenge.
Vipers beat SC Villa 2-0 at Kitende last season and SC VIlla also edged the Venoms 1-0 in the return leg at Wankulukuku
SC Villa last won a game at Kitende in the 2019/20 season when they beat Vipers 1-0.

The Venoms are 5th on the table with 7 points and a victory in today’s encounter will see them go top of the table if Kitara FC and BUL FC fail to win their respective fixtures.
The Joogos are 8th on the log and a win will take them to 7 points, only two behind table leaders if they lose their games.
