Uganda Receives First Batch Of COVID-19 Vaccines

Ugandans are now warming up to return back to disco because what has been seeing them as finally gotten a ‘sanitizer’

Today the first batch of COVID-19 vaccines finally arrived at the pearl of Africa soil.

On behalf of government, at Entebbe International Airport, Minister for Health, Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng as receive the first batch of vaccine that includes 864000 doses.

“The first batch of the COVID19 vaccines finally arrives in Uganda. It includes 864,000 doses.

Health care providers, security personnel, teachers, persons aged 50 years and above and those with underlying health conditions to benefit from phase one of vaccination.” The ministry confirmed.

The vaccination program set to start on 10th March 2021, at Mulago Hospital with medical personnel then later the security will follow.
