Pilsner Monthly Awards: URA’s Duo, Sadat Anaku Among the Nominees

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club duo in their head Coach Sam Ssimbwa and goal poacher, Steven Desse Mukwala are nominated among the best coach and Player of the month of March respectively by Pilsner.

Sam Ssimbwa who’s side had a perfect run in the month of March, won five in five games played in that Month in Uganda Premier league, conceded only one goal compared to ten scored. He is competing for the one million shillings prize money plus accolade from Pilsner with Busoga United tactician Abbey Kikomeko and Wasswa Bbosa of Express FC.

The on form Steven Desse Mukwala, a goal poacher for the tax collectors is in competition with KCCA FC’s Sadat Anaku and Busoga United’s Ssozi Shaka.

Mukwala whose goal scoring tally is in double figures, got involved in six goals in the month of March, scoring five and assisting one.

However, Mukwala and his coach, Sam Ssimbwa were already awarded by MTN as the best for the fans in the month of March.

This week at a venue to be communicated, the awards organizers will be announcing the best.
