Netball Super League: UPDF, Prisons to Battle as Police ‘Check’ Busia’s Potential on Court

Wednesday Fixtures: 

Police Netball Club vs Busia Greater Lions NC [12noon] 

Posta Netball Club vs KCCA netball club [2PM]

UPDF Netball Club vs Prisons Netball Club [4PM] 

The Uganda Netball Super League returns this Wednesday at Kamwokya Community Sports Center with three fixtures on the day.

Police Netball Club will be hosting league newcomers Busia Greater Lions as the opening fixture of the day that will come at noon with both sides looking at registering better result as the first round of the league nears climax.

Only goal average separates the two sides, but they tie at ten points, though Busia who secured two back to back Victories on match week ten which puts them in the 6th position while Police sits 7th on the log.

This is the first time the two sides are meeting. 

KCCA netball club, who are still unbeaten in eight games, will be hosting struggling Posta Netball Club in the second match of the day at Kamwokya, Posta still struggling with their form, lost all their previous encounters in the league and they sit 11th on the log with only two points, they are facing charged KCCA who are looking forward to win this year’s edition unbeaten.

KCCA tie points with NIC and Prisons who seat on top and second, only goal average which separates the three giants, an KCCA wants to win the Wednesday games to go in the weekend with heads high as they will be visiting Prison.

And the other big game of the day will be between UPDF and unstoppable Prisons Netball Club, the bombo based side’s performance has been going down and they lost three of their last four fixtures, they lost against KCCA, UCU and NIC.

Prisons Netball Club wants to take the top seat on the table before the end of the first round, a win with better goal advantage can help them to go on top because NIC has no fixture on Wednesday.

Prisons remain a better side and even when they met last season, the prison beat UPDF 62-40.
