Madina Islamic Junior Student Wins Qur’an Competition, Scoops Full Year Scholarship

The month of Ramathan has been a success to Madina Islamic Schools, at its climax on Wednesday, their 13 year old, P7 pupil won the Qur’an competition organized by Voice of Africa radio. 

Abdurahman Kayiira beat the rest in the competition to win the award as well as a full year scholarship package.

Kayiira emerged the winner of quiz competition dubbed “Ettu Lya Eid” that is organized every year during Ramathan period by Voice of Africa.

Kayiira won a one year scholarship and several awards.

It has been a joyful week for the student and the School at large having scooped another award a week before, KAYIIRA also won the Nice TV “Jihad Y’obwongo” 2924. 

The school director, Hajji Ishaka Mbalirwa promised to keep promoting each ever talent they hub at the school.

“We congratulate Kayiira for making the school proud and we pray that Allah uplifts him in his future endeavours.

We’re also indebted to all participants for a healthy and successful competition, the funders and other stakeholders. May the Almighty Allah reward all their sacrifices towards this year’s competition” HM stated

We shall continue to engage in such competitive activities so that our learners’ talents are exposed” He added.

The Nsanji Katereke based school have had a year to remember in both academics, general challenges and physical Education.
