Isn’t this a Joke! FUFA Vows to Fight Counterfeiters as Put New Cranes Jersey on Market
Counterfeiting is part and partial of Ugandans in all sectors of the nation, fashion inclusive, however, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) vowed to fight and stop the duplication of football products on market.
On Tuesday, the FA at it’s head offices at Mengo Officially unveiled the new Cranes Jersey ahead of the 2022 Qatar World Cup Qualifiers.
While addressing press on Tuesday, the FA boss Eng. Moses Magogo promised to involve Police and Uganda Revenue Authority in a fight against counterfeits distributors so that football benefits in its products.
“We ask our supporters to buy Cranes items from only authorised distributors and those are FUFA, Jumia and Umbro.
Those stuffs on other markets are counterfeits and buying them will not benefit football state.
Actually we shall involve police and Uganda Revenue Authority in the fight of stopping the sell of Uganda Cranes counterfeited stuffs, those stuffs includes; Jersey, Scarf, Sandals, and the Cranes T-shirts.” Said Magogo.
FUFA had confirmed that FUFA house is the only none online outlet for Cranes stuffs so far.
