Hon. Kibuule Manson Survives, Cargo Trailer Crashes Few Metres Away

State Minister for Water and Environment, Hon. Ronald Kibuule Manson narrowly survived after a cargo trailer crashed few metres away from its location in Mbalala Town, Mukono District.
The Wednesday morning came with a shock to residents of Mbalala town in Nama sub county Mukono district along Kampala Jinja high way, when the speeding cargo trailer slipped off the road to the trench destroying people’s businesses and scrap stores left on grown.
The accident happened approximately 200 metres away from the residence of the state minister for Water and Environment Hon Ronald Kibuule who is also the out going member of parliament for Mukono South.

According to the eye witness Ssekamwa Lawrence a resident of Mbalala town, the over speeding trailer that was heading to Kampala from Jinja flipped off the road as it reached the town destroying almost all scrap stores found at the road side.
PC Osaga Stanley, the traffic officer at the scene confirmed the accident and described it as a single minor accident and attributed it to a reckless driving and the bad condition of the road.
“The road from Mbalala to Namataba is always busy but full of pot holes that can easily lead to accidents” Stanley noted.
Osaga further informed this website that no person was injured in the course and only property were destroyed.
Residents of Mbalala town noted that this is the second accident in the same area with in a fortnight and the recent one being a supercustom vehicle that seriously injured it’s driver.
Residents therefore called upon the concerned authorities to help them and renovate the road so as to curb accidents in their area.
