betPawa Futsal Super League Climax: Lubowa With a half Century Goals, Park Only Waiting Trophy Celebrations

The 2023/24 betPawa Futsal Super League climaxed last week with Park FC winning the title minus a loss.
The most vibrant futsal club in Uganda finished with 62 points and a gap of 12 between them and second placed side, Kisenyi FC.
Even in their last season fixture, they thumped Kisugu FC 10-3 to prove that winning two trophies so far this year wasn’t a fluck.
According to Futsal Association of Uganda, Park FC will officially receive its trophy on 7th next month after playing the Futsal Super Cup, and in this, Park FC will play against second placed side, Kisenyi FC because the former won both the main league and Uganda Cup.
Meanwhile, Michael Lubowa has made history by breaking the Futsal Super League record for most goals scored in a single season.
The ‘To God be the Glory’, completed the season with a half century of goals (50), to achieve this, he netted seven goals in Lubaga Grameen climaxing fixture on Friday at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
The former champions beat Edgars Youth Programme FC 11-7.
With this remarkable performance, Lubowa took his total tally to 50 goals, surpassing the previous record of 48 goals set by Sulaiman Mutyaba in the 2017/18 season. What’s even more impressive is that Lubowa achieved this milestone in just 22 appearances, whereas Mutyaba’s record came in 26 games.
Lubowa’s exceptional goal-scoring form has left him nine goals clear of his nearest competitor, AbdiKarim Abdullahi Ahmed, who netted 41 times for Kisenyi FC. His record-breaking achievement cements his position as one of the greatest strikers in Futsal Super League history.
