Bika Football Tournament: Mbogo Takes First Leg Advantage Over Kinyomo as Mbwa Eats Nyonyi Ndiisa

The first leg of the round of 32 fixtures held climaxed on Sunday and the last edition losing finalists, Mbogo clan needed a sole goal from Ronald Nyanzi to take advantage over Kinyomo.
Sixteen games were held on four different groups on Sunday and at Kawanda, Mbogo clan beat Kinyomo 1-0 in the afternoon fixture.

At the same ground, Mbwa edged Ndiisa in a seven goal thriller, Ivan Kalagala for Mbwa had a hat-trick, Muhammad Maseruka also appeared on the score sheet for the clan, the goals for Ndiisa came from Arafat Muyanja, scored twice and Muhammad Lutunda
The defending champions, Ngoonge needed a late penalty award from the referee to secure a win against resilient Musu, Ngoonge’s captain, Wasswa Emmanuel converted the penalty in the late minutes of the game.

Nvuma beat Nakinsige 3-1, thanks to Vincent Ssekajja, Tebere Lugoloobi and Christopher Kawagu goals, the consolation for Nakinsige came from Mikdad Ssenyonga.
Nankinsige finish the game with a man less after the booking of Ivan Nyombi with a red card.
Njovu took the first leg advantage over Kasimba after a 1-0 win on Sunday, Herman Kakembo scored for Njovu.
Ivan Mayanja scored the only goal that helped Omutima Omusaji to over come Butiko in a 1-0 full-time score line.
Nyonyi Nyange got a walkover, Ngo didn’t show up at the venue.
Omutima Omuyanja got a hard-fought victory over Mmamba Kakoboza, thanks to Mayanja Ivan lone strike.
Juma Mukasa scored once for Ndiga to go past Ngabi Nsamba.
Brian Majwega on brace, Patrick Mbowa and Sula Mutatya appeared on the score sheet as Mpindi hummers Nvubu.
Nsenene almost at round of 16, the side whitewashed, Mazzi g’akisasi 6-1 in the first leg. Isaac Mpagi scored twice, Kato Derrick, Sulaiman Kato Sewanyana, Masembe Dirisa, and Steven Serebe all scored for Nsenene and the only goal for Mazzi g’ekisasi scored by Timothy Ndagi.
Ssesaazi Sulaiman the only one on target for Nte that beat Ngabi Nyunga 1-0. Njaza and Kkibe shared spoils in a goalless stalemate while Ffumbe lost 1-0 to Nkima, thanks to Amuli Mukasa strike. Ffumbe will not be with their first choice goal keeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo who was given a red card in the first leg.
Lugave beat Mmamba Namataka 2-1, Brian Nkuubi and Joshua Ssentabule were on target for Lugave while Timothy Ssenfuma scored for Mmamba Namataka.
Ngeye thumped Ntalaganya, 4-0, Frank Kalule scored hat-trick and an own goal from Robert Wasswa handed Ntalaganya a big loss.
The return legs are to be honored on Wednesday at four different venues; Kawanda SS, Lubiri SS, Lukuli playground and Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga.
The teams that will qualify to round of 16 shall be pitted in four groups of four teams.
