Bugerere Thrash FUFA Big League Side 7-0, Sends Strong Warning To Ssingo
Bugerere Ssaza football team thrashed second tier side, Jinja North United Football club 7-0 on Wednesday 28th June 2023 to send warning to their opponents in Bulange group.
Bugerere who will kick start her 2023 Masaza Cup journey against Ssingo Ssaza football team on Sunday 2nd July away from home played a practice match following players unveiling ceremony before their supporters at Ntenjeru Ssaza Grounds in Kayunga.
At the end of the first half, the “Abalimi” as baptized were upfront by 5-0 score line with a brace from Nketiah Kenneth Evans and Isaac Ssenyunja. Henry Wamala had netted one too.
Second half, gaffer, Noah Mugerwa introduced ten (10) new faces with only Evans Nketiah Kenneth the only player unchanged and Bugerere added two more goals.
Nketiah Kenneth Evans scored another goal to register a hat-trick while the other goal was scored by Congolese pacey forward Muhindo Ndekeruha.
On the same occasion, Bugerere Ssaza chief Owek. Mugerere James Ssempiga called on all people to come and work together to see that Bugerere go high.

Bugerere was pitted in Bulange group alongside Ssingo, Bulemeezi, Butambala, Buvuma and Busujju and their journey kicks off away from home against Ssingo this Saturday before hosting Bulemeezi and Butambala the following weekends.
Following the kick off of the prestigious football championship in Uganda last weekend (Saturday 24th June) where Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II graced the ceremony in the match which saw Mawokota Ssaza FC defeat defending champions, Busiro by 3-1 score line, the excitement will be extended to Nine various venues in Buganda kingdom.
Only 2019 champions none other than Bulemeezi Ssaza Football Club game against Butambala Ssaza Football Club in Kasana Luweero will be the only encounter which will be played behind closed doors following the Masaza cup organizing committee disciplinary action.
