Though she was sidelined for a period of three months to allow a smooth investigations into accountability issues, Uganda Netball Federation President Hon. Babirye Kityo Sarah engineered the coming of Uganda Airlines on board.
The national air carriers, Uganda Airlines on Friday, 30th July 2023 unveiled as the She Cranes official Travel partners as the national team getting ready for it’s fourth world cup appearances in history in South Africa come late next month.
Uganda Airlines presented a package of 56.34 million shillings with passenger tickets that will be helping the She Cranes and it’s officials to travel to Cape Town with ease.

“…. today we have launched our sponsorship to Uganda She Cranes, under this sponsorship, Uganda Airlines have made a contribution of 56,340000 shillings ” Uganda Airlines Sales and Marketing Manager Deo Nyanzi confirmed during the launch held on Friday at AVRS International School in Nakirebe Mpigi District.
“Netball has a nice profile, it has a good story in terms of performance globally, in terms of achievement, we might say that it’s the most successful sport in the nation and as Uganda Airlines, we pride to associate with a successful team.” Deo Nyanzi added.
“On top of financial support, Uganda Airlines has made another contribution to transport part of the team to South Africa and again we have special offers to fans who will be going to South Africa to support our team.”
The historical event was also graced by the Uganda Airlines CEO, Jenifer Bamuturaki who promised that Uganda Airlines will continue support the talents in Uganda.

“On behalf of Uganda Netball Federation, I thank Uganda Airlines for making a rightful choice, She Cranes is well known and supported brand globally, we are going to give you visibility that you deserve and going to use the money effectively.” Says UNF CEO Banya Francis.
Part of the package, She Cranes outfits in World Cup will be branded with Ugana Airlines either at the back or front of the match day kit.
