Ahead of the kickoff of the new Finance Trust Women Super League season, Rines SS Women Football Club has continued to strengthen its squad by securing the services of its key players through contract extensions.
The latest to commit her future to the Namusera-based side is midfield maestro Yuster Kayesu, who has signed a new two-year deal that will keep her at the club until 2027.
Kayesu, the club’s longest-serving player, joined Rines SS in 2018 and has since spent eight years with the team. By the end of her new contract, she will have completed a decade of service at the club.
During her time at Rines, Kayesu has played a pivotal role in maintaining the club’s top-flight status. Her consistent performances have not only won her admiration at the club but also earned her call-ups to the Crested Cranes, Uganda’s national women’s team.
She joins Arach Phiona, Nalukwago Jasmine, and Odalu Immaculate, who also recently renewed their contracts with Rines SS, signaling the club’s commitment to building stability ahead of the new campaign.
The 2025/26 Women Super League season kicks off on October 3, 2025, with a thrilling fixture between giants Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and defending champions Kampala Queens.
Rines SS will open their season with an away trip to Makerere University Women FC at Makerere University Main Ground, before hosting league newcomers Asubo Ladies FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.
