Video: ‘Facebook Disciplinary Committee’ Squeeze Pr. Bugembe, He Refutes Claims of Him Asking Bobi To Accept Defeat

The Senior Pastor of Worship Church Nansana and a gospel musician, Pastor Wilson Bugembe came out to clear the air about the statements making around social media platforms pinning him of forcing Bobi Wine to accept defeat against President Museveni in just concluded presidential elections.

National Unity Platform supporters in and out side Uganda plus their principal Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine did not accept the results announced by Electoral Commission chairman, Justice Simon Byabakama.

At the start of this week, a statement claimed to be coming from the Lengera Embaata hit maker, Pastor Wilson Bugembe started making round on social media, saying that the pastor asked Kyagulanyi to accept the defeat such that the nation remain in peace.

“Bobi Wine is my friend but he should accept defeat! The country is at peace and that’s all we all want.” The statement reads.

The statement pissed off many of Kyagulanyi and NUP supporters and started throwing insults, abuses and photos that demean pastor Bugembe. And some of them announced him dead.

With such insults, Bugembe came out on the evening of Tuesday and made a one minute and thirteen seconds video to clear his name before the public.

“Praise be to God, today I work up when many people are abusing me via social media that I spoke unpleasant words against my brother Bobi; but I swear to God I did not say such words.” Humble pastor stated in his preamble.

“That’s why I am here to clear the air. And my brothers, indeed this time round you crucifying me for nothing.

If indeed I spoke such words, as a born again Christian, I would be here repenting for them.” Pastor Wilson Bugembe.

This is not the first time Social Media users attacking Pastor Bugembe and other religious leaders, claiming that they are siding with the oppressor and yet they (Religious leaders) get church fee from the oppressed.
