Ug Decides2021: Lets Enjoy Our ‘Mweso’ Leave Jobless Police Alone, Tumukunde Blocked From Accessing Masindi Town
Uganda Police and other security agencies blocked Independent Presidential Candidate, Gen. Henry Tumukunde from accessing Masindi town as he climaxes his campaigns in western and Bunyoro Kitara regions.
Tumukunde, who started his vote hunt in western Uganda and crossed to Bunyoro region, today was his climaxing day and he was winding up his 13 days journey with three districts, that is Buliisa, Masindi and Kiryandongo.
The day started well in Buliisa, and the general had a number of stop overs, speaking to his supporters from different trading centers until the time came to enter Masindi Town.

Before trying to enter Masindi town where he supposed to hold a rally at Kolpin hotel, he first enjoy the traditional board game (Omweso) with the residents of Kanyege Village, Budongo Sub county in Masindi district.
He played as Police getting ready for him, immediately he attempted to enter Masindi town, the men in uniform proved to him that he has no way to town.
“It’s like these police officers get different briefs, we had a discussion with chief of Police in Masindi and he showed that everything shall move on smoothly but to our surprise, now they are disallowing us from entering Masindi Town.” Tumukunde addressing media after being blocked by Police.
“The Police is making it very hard for us to access people and even our venue.”
Gen. Henry had to hold a rally at Kolpin hotel but it didn’t go on, and he was forced to proceed with his journey to Kiryandongo.
Here Tumukude promised to curb all the problems disturbing the district once the residents grant him chance to lead the nation.
Tomorrow, Tumukunde is switching to West Nile and he is expected in Pakwach and Nebbi.
