National Unity Platform Symbol Gazetted

The Electoral Commission of Uganda approved National Unity Platform symbol of Umbrella and they are free to use it.

According to NUP, their symbol was approved by EC on Friday last week and it will be on ballet paper come 2021 placed against names of all the Party candidates.

“Our symbol was gazetted last Friday and we can now officially use it. This is the symbol which will appear on the ballot paper against the names & images of all NUP candidates at all levels. Tell your friend to tell a friend to look out for the UMBRELLA.” National Unity platform, alerted it’s supporters and candidates

Like other parties, NUP is still in campaigns requesting Ugandans to entrust them to lead the Pearl of Africa in the next five years.

However, their journey is facing slot of challenges from security officers from all regions of the nation, and teargas, live bullets turned to be a meal to whichever area they go too.
