Ug Decides2021: “I am Doing Well”, Gen. Tumukunde Assesses His Strength In Western Uganda

Tomorrow Gen. Henry Tumukunde an Independent presidential candidate is winding up his campaign tour in Bunyoro Kitara region.

He started his vote hunt in western Uganda before closing in Kitara region, while addressing media after Monday campaign trail, Tumukunde assessed his strength so far in Western Uganda and Bunyoro.

The former Security Minister, saying that he is doing well in those parts and he believes they will vote for him to become Uganda’s next President come January 2021.

Tomorrow I will be completing my campaigns in Bunyoro Kitara region,  I was weighing my strength here and in western Uganda, but what I have seen and those who have been following us, I am doing well.” Tumukunde assessing his support.

What I am happy of is; the people of western Uganda started demanding for change, in the past opposition has been finding it hard to get votes from here but I am happy it has come to our time.

It would have been extra massive if we were not distracted by Police and Army.” Tumukunde added.

The General today has been traversing through Kibuube and Hoima districts where he promised their residents how he is going to solve the problem of women dying, the challenge of land grabbing and ownership that had been disturbing them since colonial days.

“I studied that these people have a huge challenge of land grabbing and ownership, and it has disturbed them since the colonial days.

And what I am asking them is to entrust us with their votes, these challenges would be easy for our government to solve.”

Again Gen. Tumukunde asked Ugandans to vote for change not to please somebody.

This is a very critical elections, I don’t want you to waste your vote, our your vote where you want change not to please anybody.”.

Tumukunde will tomorrow be in Buliisa, Masindi and Kiryandongo as campaigns enter day 16.
