The stanbic Uganda Cup has climaxed on Saturday at Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.
Kitara FC who lost the league trophy on the final day have consoled the season with a Uganda Cup trophy.
The side has beat the fellow league debutants, NEC FC, 1-0 in the final match honored at Wankulukuku on Saturday, thanks to super sub Solomon Okwalinga 72nd minute strike.
NEC had all the opportunities to kill the game before the Kitara lead but Cromwell Rwothomio was too wasteful in both halves.
Kitara FC joined the ranks of clubs like SC Villa, KCCA, BUL, Vipers SC, Express who have won the title before.
Kitara FC won 50 million shillings prize money from Stanbic Uganda and NEC settled for 25 million shillings.
The Royals will represent Uganda on continent in the CAF Confederation Cup.
