We Want Sharp Leaders, Ssembabule District Councilors Undergo Serious Induction
The two day training commenced on Wednesday 13th, October 2021 at Rain boll Motel in Ssembabule Town Council.
Aiming at service delivery to the locals, Ssembabule District Leaders have organized and induction training for all the District councilors.
The two days training commenced on Wednesday 13th, October 2021 at Rain boll Motel in Ssembabule Town Council.
Hon. Patrick Nkalubo, District Chairperson, Mr. Mahabba Malik, the District Chief Administrative Officer and Hon. Hajji Erias Kasozi, the Speaker of the District Council were joined by Thirty Seven (37) Councilors from Ssembabule District.

Ssembabule District has Thirteen Subcounties (13) and Three (3) Town Councils and the Theme of the induction “Committing To Transformative Leadership”
The Induction training has been focused on Six (6) pillars as follow
- Decentralization Policy and the Local Government System in Uganda
- Understanding Leadership
- Basic Facts about Ssembabule District Local Government as of today
- Relationship between Ssembabule District Local Government and others
- Roles and Responsibilities of Key Stakeholders.
- The standard rule of procedure for local Government Councils – A living local Government Adheres to meeting procedures.

Day one was facilitated by Ronnie Kiwumulo Mbabaali a professional Human Resource Manager and Developer working with Civil Service College Uganda as a Program officer.
Christopher Magezi will join on the day two as the facilitator.
Christopher will beef up the induction with his vast knowledge and experience in areas of local Government inspection, Community Development, Public Administration, Project planning and Management, Monitoring and Evolution and Public Administration.
