She Corporate Export Wins USPA Award

The Uganda Sports Press Association in conjunction with their main sponsor, Nile Special held a glamorous awarding ceremony to recognize the best performers of two years, that is 2021 and 2022.

The event that attracted dignitaries in the field of sports was held on Saturday evening at Imperial Royale hotel Kampala.

Women football was also recognized, seeing the one of the best She Corporate FC exports, Phionah Nabbumba winning the best player of 2022 in women football.

Nabbumba was a strong pillar in She Corporate FC squad that won the 2021/22 FUFA Women Super League, she got involved in 13 goals, scoring five and assisting eight that made her the Most Valuable Player of the season.

Nabbumba was also a kingpin in the squad that has won silver medal in 2022 CECAFA zonal qualifiers for the Women CAF champions league.

Nabbumba currently plies her trade in Denmark with B93 Women Football Club.

The other winner is Daisy Nakaziro who won the 2021 Female Football of the year award, she also had a remarkable season while still with Lady Doves FC.

Currently, the custodian is with league reigning champions, Kampala Queens.
