Reports: Kampala Queens Wants to Recruit Shamirah Nalugya ahead of FUFA Women Super ‘League’

Kampala: The FUFA Women Super League side, Kampala Queens are trying all ways to secure the signature of Isra Soccer Academy WFC midfield maestro Shamirah Nalujja ahead of 2021 Season.

Last season, The Under 20 Women National team player was trading her brand in Kawempe Muslim on loan deal until the end of the season that was prematurely ended due to COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.

The news reaching this website’s desk indicates that Eng Moses Magogo owned side, Kampala Queens are badly need the midfielder to strengthen their squad since they want to be the pioneer side to represent Uganda in the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions expected to commence in either October, November or December 2021.

The rumor has it that Isra Soccer Academy request for 12 million shillings in transfer of midfield but currently Kampala Queens stands at Five millions.

According to FUFA arrangements, this year’s women football leagues especially Women Super League and Women Elite league are going to be played in a tournament or gala format and Super League going to have two groups of five teams.

Kampala Queens is in group one with Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC, Kawempe Muslim Ladies, Makerere University WFC and Tooro Queens.

The League which is to take part at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru, is expected to kickoff on 11th April 2021.
