National Unity Platform presidential candidate, Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert magnet pulled crowds on his way to Kibuku, Manafwa and Bududa districts as he continues with his campaigns.

However, Police and other security agencies did not allow the crowd to enjoy the sweet message from their candidate, fired tear gas and live bullets into them especially in Iganga and in the saga, two nurses moving with Kyagulanyi Ssentamu’s convoy.

Kyagulanyi confirmed this via his official facebook page before he reached Kibuku.

We have been able to reach and address our people in Kibuku. Like it has become the norm on our campaign trail, the regime militia again tear gassed us along the way and even shot a tear gas canister into our ambulance injuring two of our nurses in it! It’s a pity the brutality we face! Our next stop is Budaka and later on Manafwa.” Kyagulanyi.

Despite all the huddles through out their day’s journey, Kyagulanyi pulled big crowds in Kibuku, Manafwa and Bududa.

Ba Baaba ne ba Mai, ba Masaaba, mwanyala naabi. Thank you Manafwa for the massive welcome. Despite the tear gas, live bullets and having to walk over 10 kilometres to the remote venue where we were pushed, you still made a statement with your attendance.” Kyagulanyi thanking the people of Kibuku, Manafwa and Bududa.
