Bunyaga Bruno scored a glut as his University St Lawrence humbles Mbarara University of Science and Technology [MUST] 5-2 on Wednesday at Kavule Playground in their last group D fixture of the Pepsi University football league.

All the five goals for St Lawrence came from Bruno Bunyaga while the only two for Mbarara based University came from Agaba Darius and Akem Keene. 

The 2021 Masaza Cup winning forward with Buddu Saza had the double brace in the first thirty minutes of the game and added another in the 62nd minute from the spot to make it five goals for the 2019 finalists.

Bunyaga started the five goal scoring journey in the 8th minute, came back on the score sheet in the 17th,  20th, 28th and 62nd minute.

The visitors, Mbarara University did try to come back in the second half with Agaba Darius scoring in the 69th and Akem Kwene scoring in the 86th but it was not enough.

The result saw St. Lawrence University climb to the top of Group D with eight points from  five played games while Makerere University are second with 6 points from their 5 games.
