Ntenjeru North MP, Hon. Amos Lugoloobi Graces Kayunga Community Club Anniversary
For the longer they have come from, Kayunga Community Club celebrated their First Anniversary on Saturday 28th, August 2021 at Cape Gardens, Kayunga.
The Celebration was graced by chief guest the Ntenjeru North Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Amos Lugolobi who doubles as the Chairman Advisory Board of the Club.
The other members of the Board are; Bbaale Constituency Legislator Hon. Tebandeke Charles, Hajjati Faridah Kiboowa the Chairperson NRM Women Council, former Kayunga Women MP Aspirants, Hon. Nakwedde Harriet and Hon. Nalubwama Agatha, club president, Bwogi Joseph Mpagi and his Executive committee and members of the community.
Chief Guest thanked the club for the tremendous role they play in helping the community and the supporting hands the leaders of the club are extending to the members in terms of development not only financially but also socially.
“I want to congratulate Kayunga Community Club for coming out and start joining hands to become the new hope of Kayunga District. Such clubs are the way to go and will help you to benefit from Government programs because they are organized”.
“I commend Kayunga Community club as a model club in Kayunga District and Uganda as well because Youths can come together and form a group aiming at improving our standards of living by forming businesses and associations”
At the same function, Hon. Amos Lugolobi boasted the club with 5 Million Uganda Shillings, and they launched their product, Kayunag Community Porridge, and called upon Youths to be more creative.
Bbaale Constituency Legislator also the Shadow Minister for Fishing, Hon. Tebandeke Charles congratulated the club and called upon the People of Kayunga to join the celebration because local People in the community have benefited and there is hope in the club`s activities.
“We want to thank Kayunga Community Club for celebrating their first anniversary because all their activities have been touching mostly to common People. It is unfortunate that the celebration has come in COVID-19 period but many would have joined the ceremony because the club has been there for them in all trying times”.
“I think it is not enough for the members of the club because they have a long journey to go according to their set goals and targets so I take this as a semi party”. Added Hon. Tebandeke Charles
Kawuuzi Victor, the general secretary of Kayunga Community Club promised the People of Kayunga that the club is becoming stronger every day.
“We wanted to celebrate the long we have come from because we can not know our way forward if we don`t remember the history”.
“From day one, our aim was to come together, join our voices and develop together and we thank to God, we have walked it well throughout the year because now we have started seeing a deem light at a distance”.
“There is success in our projects in the first year because the club has touched on those issues that are challenging the community like helping the needy, extending our help to People with disabilities, feeding the Hungry People and even members of the club have started creating their own jobs through our loan programs”.

Kayunga Community club is a registered community-based organization dedicated to fostering and promoting good friendly relations, promoting development, Hygiene, education, innovation, and awareness, committed to men, women, youths through the support of an active community of Kayunga and neighborhoods in order to achieve future development.
The club currently has over one Hundred (100) registered members from all Genders.
