Netball Super League: Life Sport Registers Maiden Win As UPDF Shoots Posta Down

Mutelx Life Sport Netball Club secured their first win in top flight league and it came against struggling Ugx Luweero after match week four of the season honored at Kamwokya Community Sports Centre.
Mutelx beat Luweero 44-35 to have their win following their previous three defeats in the league where they are newcomers.
Nampijja Lillian and Sharon Nabakiibi were the stars who scored most goals for Nicolas Trevor coached side, they two scored all the 44 goals, Nampijja with 29 and Nabakiibi with 15 goals.
Other Saturday results, UPDF Netball Club ran riot against 1998 champions, Posta Netball Club in their second game of the season.
The Bombo Barracks based side with no mercy beat Posta 82-25 and registered their first win of the season after their game two.
Wasswa Andrew coached side proved that they are superior side on the day from the first to the last quarter and they scored over 15 goals per quarter, first quarter, they netted 16 and allowed Posta to score only four goals, and at the break, Posta managed only 10 goals, the lowest they scored this season in their first two quarters while UPDF had 38.
In the third quarter, Posta lifted their performance though they scored nine goals in that quarter compared to 26 scored by UPDF and the final score came at 25-82 and UPDF became the first side to score over 80 goals this season.
Out of the 82 goals for UPDF, outstanding Abe Kevin scored 76 in the 52 minutes she was on court and currently, she tops the scorers chart with 120 goals.
The defending champions, NIC beat Police 59-43 to go two wins straight this season.
However, in the days opener, Police beat Ugx Luweero 63-36 and they are the two teams, Luweero and Police that had two games on the day.
UCU remained on the top of the table with 6 points though they didn’t have any game over the weekend.
The league will return on Thursday 27th October 2022 at Kamwokya Community Sports Centre with four games.
