Masaza Cup2020: Reckless Kyaggwe Drop Points In Dying Minutes, Busujju Join Men’s Table

Hussein Mbalangu’s Kyaggwe Saza had all chances to register their second win of the tournament to equal Bulange table leaders Busiro on six points.

In their matchday three, on the afternoon of 2021 eve at Njeru Technical Centre, Kyaggwe Saza football team shared spoils with Busujju in a one all draw.

On the day Kyaggwe had all the chances to match away with three points according to the game displayed by the boys but like it was in their opening fixture to which they lost 2-1 against Buwekula, it was of no great different today when they failed to kill off the game before the youthful Busujju squared the encounter with an important header from Brian Omirambe in the 89th minute.

Following a barren first stanza, eight minutes into second half, Hussein Senoga gave Kyaggwe a lead with a superb finish that left Kalule Henry, Busujju’s goalie helpless in his goalposts.

Before Busujju squared the game in 89th minute, Kyaggwe through, Bithum Ronald and Hussein Senoga had all clear cut chances to kill off the game but they were too reckless even to jealously guard their lone goal.

The draw earned Busujju a first point in this year’s edition following a 2-1 defeat against 2019 finalists and Bulange group leaders Busiro.

Kyaggwe now have four points, second on log behind Busiro who are still unbeaten in two games.

Kyaggwe only need a win in their last fixture which is against Busiro if they are to continue with their dream of winning the title of 2020.

Two teams will qualify from Bulange group for the quarter finals to join the likes of Bulemeezi and Mawogola who made the grade from Butikiro group.
