Buganda Masaza Cup 2023 Quarter Final Return Legs

Sunday 24th September – Kick-off Time: 3PM

Buddu Vs Kyadondo (2-1) – Masaka Recreation Ground

Buwekula Vs Bulemeezi (0-0) – St Peters Technical Playground

Ssingo Vs Gomba (1-3) – Mityana Ssaza Ground

Mawokota Vs Buvuma (0-0) – Buwama Ssaza Ground

Masaza Cup organizing committee has appointed referees to handle return legs of Masaza cup quarter finals scheduled on Sunday 24th September 2023.

Three time champions, Mawokota (2005, 2007 & 2013) play hosts to Buvuma Islanders at Buwama Ssaza Grounds. The organizing committee has appointed Musisi Henry as the centre  referee and he will be assisted by Lubwama Ivan, Jjunju Bashir, Mugisha Isma and Ssonko Mark. 

The first leg in Magyo Ssaza Ground ended in a goalless draw (0-0)

Buwekula against Bulemeezi at St Peters Technical Playground will be handled by Wasswa Alex as the centre referee assisted by Zziwa Charles, Katabalwa Jonathan,  Nasser Kirya and Katabira David. The reverse fixture in Kasana Luweero also ended in a barren draw (0-0).

At Masaka Recreation Ground, Buddu will hosts to Kyadondo and the organizing committee has appointed Ssali Mashoud,  Nassolo Liz,  Lulenzi Sharifu, Ssekanjako Ibrahim and Nsubuga Faisal. Buddu take advantage lead of 2-1 following the first leg result of the encounter at Hormisedallen Primary School Gayaza.

Another encounter will see all time winners, Gomba pay a visit to Mityana Ssaza Ground against Ssingo. The game will be officiated by Kasalirwe Lucky,  Mafumu Mustafa, Mbabali Samuel, Ssemakula John and Kigongo Farouk. Gomba takes lead advantage of 3-1 as the pay a visit to Mityana.

The overall winners from all the four encounters will advance to semi finals.
