Masaza Cup 2023: Busiro Gains Momentum After Picking A Draw off Gomba Lions

The Masaza Cup defending champions, Busiro Ssaza picked a point off on form Gomba Lions and their tactician Ibrahim Kirya is impressed with the point.

The game held at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso on Sunday, ended in a goal less draw and the 2022 champions moved to five points.

Busiro has only one win, they collected off from Mawogola and Akram Muzanyi scored that only goal.

The Busiro head coach, Ibrahim Kirya said that

 “As we start the second round, we need to collect maximum points if we’re to qualify for knock out stage”.

He also added that ” as a team we have changed the style of play that’s why for the last two games we have managed to collect four points in two games and we think as we start the second round, the team will perform better than the first round so we have to revenge against those who have defeated us before.” Says Kirya.

Mutyaba Sulaiman was the man of the match for Busiro and was a awarded 100,000/- from Home Connect Property Consultant Services.

Busiro is in Muganzarwazza group with  Mawogola, Gomba, Mawokota and Ssese.

The next game, Busiro will visit Mawokota in Buwama next weekend on 06/07/2023 , the first game ended 1-3 in fovour of Mawokota in wakulukuku during the opening game.
