The Senior Presidential advisor on Special Operations and the commander of SFC , Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba presided the graduation ceremony of the newly trained Police Presidential Guards.
One hundred eighty nine guards did complete their induction course, they have been pursing at Kasenyi Training School.
The Senior presidential advisor on special operations and first son has greatly advised the newly trained police presidential guards to be the lead in everything they do in the Uganda’s Police Force, so as to be good examples amongst other police officers.
“Go beyond the training you have attained and start conducting counter terrorism courses just like your counterparts the SFC have done. Kindly be the light in the police force” said Lt. Gen Muhoozi to PPG officers.
It should be noted that on Wednesday, 15 Special Forces Command officers and 189 PPG acquired skills in Chemical, Biological, Radio Nuclear and explosive handling.

Lt. Gen. Muhoozi officiated the ceremony which was as well attended by the Uganda Police Force Director of Training, Brig. Godfrey Golooba who warned the trainees to take the training as aserious issue.
“You should always take training course serious because whoever doesn’t train will have their way out from the forces thus all of you the PPG officers should take subsequent training”
Said Brig. Godfrey Golooba.
The PPG is a unit under the Special Forces Command (SFC) whose role is to provide security to the first lady and other very important persons in the country.
According to the Sera Kasenyi training school’s commandant Maj Phillip Mugizi , 200 officers had enrolled for the training course but only 189 emerged a success.
He attributed the fall of the number to issues related to disccpline and failure to adopt the discipline of the training.
