Just In: Tanzania President Magufuli Announced Dead

Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli announced dead in the night of Wednesday, 17, March 2021.

The announcement was made by Vice President Samia Suluhu. 

Dr. John Pombe Magufuli died at the age of 61years at Mzena Hospital, in Dar es Salaam.

According to the video statement released by by Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan, Dr. Magufuli died from ‘heart diseases’.

John Pombe Magufuli (29 October 1959 – 17 March 2021) was a Tanzanian politician and the fifth President of Tanzania, in office since 2015. He was the chairman of the Southern African Development Community from 2019–2020.
