Kampala Regional League: Mutungo Targets to extend perfect Form against Black Stars

On form Mutungo FC is targeting to secure more points against Black Stars in the Kampala Regional League encounter set to be held on Thursday 7 December 2023 at 4pm. 

With three games in hand after starting the league late over licensing issues, Mutungo FC have registered three wins and a draw to tally 10 points from four games. 

Mutungo FC shall host Black Stars at Luzira Prisons ground Today. 

“We are gearing up to leaders Catida, they have15 points, so every game is important to us and to this one, we anticipate to get positive results. we have some players who missed the last game and they are back” Says Mutungo Manager Jean Bosco Anguzu. 

We are tied up with Black Stars but we have a better goal difference and we are three games less than them, I hope we can get the maximum points” Mutungo FC manager Jean Bosco Anguzu. 

Black Stars coming into this game with same amount of points 10 though they have 3 games more that Mutungo FC. 

The new Kampala regional League entrants who joined as Nakawa district champions 2022-23, Won their last game 2-1 over fellow new Comers Katereke New Life on Monday at Luzira Prisons.
Facing improving Black Stars FC from bad start of the season, Mutungo FC is boosted with the return of Striker Tonny Lwanga from injury he sustained from Water FC after getting the winner for his new club which signed him from Bugoloobi FC. 

Lwanga shall combine effort with Mutungo FC leading scorer Goefrey Ssali who has 3 goals on his name to lift their fellow in seeking for a win over Black Stars a side which lost their playoffs to Big league.
