Kampala Region: Edgars Perfectly Start as KJT Fight Back to Secure Victory against Black Stars
Edgars Football Club had a perfect start in the Kampala Regional League 2021/22 season following a 1-0 win against Wembley Boys.
Due to license issues, Edgars never feature in the match day one of the season but in their maiden game of the season collected three important points, thanks to Juma Kasozi only goal in the game.
Kampala Junior Team FC, added miseries on Black Stars poor start when they leapfrogged to beat them 2-1.
At home, Black Stars wanted to bounce to winning ways after losing their season Opener against Kisugu, but couldn’t happen apart from suffering a second consecutive loss, the the first at home.
Nicolas Sunday Kaweesa first put the hosts in the lead at half a hour (30mins) before Buule Macdonald leveled the matters, ten minutes into second stanza. The Onenarach Herbert separated the matters in the 77th minute to hand KJT maximum points.

In other fixtures, Ggaba beat Bweyogerere 3-2 in a five goal thriller, Fire Fire FC shared points with Water FC.
NEC maintained their perfect start with a 2-1 victory against Sports Club Lamancia.
