International Males Netball Tournament: Perfect Start For THE ROCK, Seals Solid Victory against DCS
In their maiden international match, Uganda Male Netball Team, The Rock perfectly started with a solid win against Department of Correctional Services South Africa.
Uganda verse Department of Correctional Services (SA) became as the send game of day one of the International Males Netball Tournament that throw off on Tuesday at Heartfelt Arena in Pretoria South Africa.
The Rock humiliated their opponent with a margin of 80 goals following a 10-90 final score.
The team registered in history books of this inaugural Tournament in South Africa as the first team to finish first quarter without conceding any goal.
Uganda that is under the guidance of Coach Vicent Kiwanuka Kawooya, won all the four quarters of the game and the first ended 28-0 in favor of the Rock.
After halftime, The Rock conceded only two goals after putting 46 into the net of the opponent.
Before the commence of the third quarter, the Rock made five changes, where we saw Juma Katumba (C), Kato Nouredine (WA), Joseph Senfuka (GA), Madut Santino (GD) and Muzahara Wilberforce (WD) coming on court.
After third quarter, Uganda moved to 67-05 and the final score gave Uganda 90 goals to 10.
The first game saw neighbors Kenya beating Action Sport 46-28.
Uganda return on court at 7pm today against the hosts South Africa.
