FWSL: Kawempe Buries Hills of Wakiso in the Valley as Kampala Queens Beat Lady Doves

Kawempe Muslim Ladies continued with their magnificent form, humiliated newcomers Wakiso Hills WFC 5-0 on Saturday at the Valley in Kawempe.
Yudaya Nakayenze, Agnes Nabukenya braces and Hadija Nandago strike handed Kawempe Muslim another convincing win that kept them on top of the table of the FUFA Women Super League.
The result leaves the valley warriors on top of the log with 13 points from five games , sending warning message to the reigning champions , Kampala Queens.
Playing her second game at the club ,Yudaya utilized some few minutes in air to head the ball into the net off Mary Kabacurezi’s corner putting the home side in the lead after 22 minutes of first half.
When the the visitors were trying to fix things back in order, Agnes Nabukenya never waited for them to have things sorted , when she doubled the lead in 24th minute after the visitors’ custodian fumbled with the ball.
In the 57th minute, Nakayenze completed her brace of the day and extended Kawempe’s lead to three goals.
Four minutes later, Agnes Nabukenya converted from spot kick stretching the lead to four goals in the 61st minute.
In the late minutes of the game ,Kampi Halima was introduced into the game.
And indeed her presence at the pitch was left in the game ,when dodged the visitors defender , curling the ball directly to the keeper who failed to hold the ball properly ,handing a free tap in to Hadijja Nandago who sealed the victory.
This is the second consecutive win for Kawempe Muslim, scoring seven goals, conceding none, making them the most on form side in the league.

Else where, Kampala Queens returned to winning ways following a 2-0 win against Lady Doves FC, at Katushabe, Catherine Nagadya and Sumaya Komuntale subjected Lady Doves to their second home defeat of the season. The first came against Uganda Martyrs.
Uganda Martyrs and UCU Lady Cardinals shared points at St Gerald ‘stadium’ Lubaga, Sandra Kisakye gave the visitors a lead in the 52nd minute before Kevin Nakacwa leveled the matters through spot kicks for each side to walk away with a point.
The match week seven will continue on Sunday with two fixtures, Rines SS WFC will be hosting Asubo Ladies FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso while She Maroons at home will be welcoming Makerere University.
