FUFA Big League: ‘Mbarara City thanks for Warming Up Our Seat but we’re Back’, Kitara Edges Police to Regain The Summit

Moses Sseruyidde was the hero of the day as Kitara edge Police FC in a close Contest game honored at Kigaaya Ground on Friday afternoon.
The game ended in 1-0 in favour of the Royals ,thanks to the well taken free kick from Moses Sseruyidde in 62th minute and the three points brought the Sam Ssimbwa coached side back to their top seat that was temporary grabbed by Mbarara City.

Kitara moved to 46 points dropping Mbarara City to second place with 44 points, only two points separate the two sides who are targeting topflight promotion with no hurdle.
After losing their previous game against Calvary in Yumbe , the Royals knew that the next loss would bring them back to tricky calculations and the tactician Sam Ssimbwa made some changes in the team from that played against Calvary, Ssenkaaba George and Kasaija returned to starting list who also made great impact in the Police game.
For the visitors,police football club, they will have to get back on board and organize themselves for the next game against Luweero United at Kavumba ,a game they need to win to increase their chances for Uganda premier league promotion.
The loss for police left them on 40 points in 4th place on the log with one point below the third placed NEC FC ,that shared the points with Adjumani FC yesterday.
