Fortebet Real Stars Monthly Awards: Humble October Search For Five Best Performers
Not like the previous two to three months, October has been a humble one with no huge challenges on sports side but it has been an action packed one.
Despite being humble, it doesn’t differ from other months in terms of asking for the best performers from different sports disciplines.
Since it’s their norm, Real Stars Sports Agency in collaboration with Fortebet Uganda, Canaan Investments and Jude Color Solutions surely have failed to disappoint October, they selected 15 nominees from five different disciplines for October to chose it’s best.
The five disciplines to which October is yearning to select the best from each category are; Rugby, Football, Golf, Cricket and Tennis.
Football:
It’s one lady in Fauzia Najjemba, a Crested Cranes and U-20 Women’s National Football team battling with two gents in Uganda Cranes custodian, Charles Lukwago who had two clean sheets against Rwanda- Uganda double header in 2022 Qatar World Cup Qualifiers and FC Ashdod forward, Aziz Fahad Bayo, the former Vipers goal poacher single handedly secured Cranes six points with his two goals he scored against Rwanda in both legs.
Rugby:
The game for mascular men has three contestants in Ian Munyano of Betway Kobs, Black Pirates’ Kelvin Balagadde and Joseph Aredo of Kobs.
Munyani and Aredo were inspirational in Betway Kobs’ success at the Guinness national series held at Legends (Kampala), Gulu, and Soroti during the month.
Golf:
The game commonly known for big spenders and income earners on the land has Deo Akope, Peace Kabasweka and Irene Nakalembe, but only one will leave Lugogo with a gong on Tuesday.
Cricket
Two Baby Cricket Cranes in Cyrus Kakuru and Pascal Murungi who guided Uganda to U-19 World Cup finals are in contest with their senior, Dinesh Nakrani of Cricket Cranes.
Tennis:
This sport presented Holder Afoyorwoth, Latif Sendyowa and Ambrose Byaruhanga as their best.
Ofcourse all are with great hopes to win the gongs that come with prize money but only five out of 15 will come out of Route256 restaurant smiling.
