CAF Zonal Qualifiers Draws: She Corporates Learn Opponents

Uganda representative in the forthcoming CAF Women’s Champions League zonal qualifiers, She Corporate FC learnt their opponent in the draws held on Wednesday afternoon in Rabat Morocco.

According the the draws held, the FUFA Women’s Super league reigning champions, the Sharks were pitted in group B against the host nation’s Tanzania representative and giants Simba Queens, GRFC from Djibouti, and Yei Joint stars from South Sudan.

This is the first time She Corporate is taking part in two years old championship that is looking for the champion of the region to represent in the CAF Women’s championship league finals.

Group A has four teams, that is Central Bank of Ethiopia, Warrior Queens from Zanzibar, FOFILA from Burundi and AS Kigali of Rwanda.

The defending champions, Vihiga Queens will not take part in this year’s edition due to FIFA ban on their football governing body, FKF. 

The CECAFA CAF zonal qualifiers for this year are to be hosted in Dar es Salaam Tanzania between 13th and 28th August 2022. The winner will represent CECAFA region.

CBE (Ethiopia), Warrior Queens [Zanzibar], FOFILA PF (Burundi) and 
AS Kigali (Rwanda).

Group B

Simba Queens (Tanzania), GRFC (Djibouti), She Corporate WFC (Uganda) and 
YEI Joint Stars (Southern Sudan).
