According to Ministry of Health statistics, the number of COVID-19 cases keeps on dropping everyday but news from Bugweri indicates that learners in that district will be restricted from accessing school premises if not vaccinated.
In her address to Bugweri district COVID-19 taskforce, Janet Billy Mulindwa the RDC Bugweri has asked headteachers in the district to restrict learners without covid19 vacation cards access to their schools.
The RDC says parents should ensure that their children are fully vaccinated during this holiday to avoid the spread of covid19 both at home and learning centers.
Similarly the public has been urged to continue observing the SOPs more so washing of hands amidst the hicking price of soap country as Nakito Wagaba Resty health educator from ministry of health who facilitated at the meeting articulates.
This comes after the district is stuck with 2000 dosages of Covid19 vaccine which is left with a few days to expire.
