BRL: Bugerere United Register Historical Win, Beat Kajjansi United on Road

Kajjansi United 1-3 Uganda Sports Arena/Bugerere United
Bugerere United that’s playing in the names of Uganda Sports Arena FC registered it’s first ever win in Buganda Regional League after comfortably beat Kajjansi United on Wednesday evening at Uganda Clays Playground in Kajjansi.
Bugerere United on their second league match had to come from a goal down to beat Kajjansi United 3-1 and secure the three important points to get on the winning ways.
Emmanuel ISSA Mugoya, Swaibu Menya and Jamil Musoke scored the three goals for Uganda Sports Arena FC/Bugerere United and the only goal for Kajjansi United was converted by Rashid Mugisha.
In the opening ten minutes, Rashid Mugisha handed the hosts an early lead before it was cancelled by Emmanuel Issa Mugoya in the 37th minute of the game.
With a one on one situation with the Kajjansi United custodian, Mugoya pressed the ball a far lower post to send the visitors in celebrations.
The first stanza ended in a square but in the 63rd minute, with a nice pressing after the Kajjansi back failed to clear the ball from the danger zone, Swaibu Menya separated the tie.
Kajjansi tried to get back into the game with an equalizer search but Bugerere United ‘s backline was too solid giving no chance to Kajjansi forwards to enjoy the possession.
In the 76th minute, with a thunderbolt at the edge of the box, Jamil Musoke extended the visitors lead to three goals.
This has been the first ever win for the team tht was created in 2023 with the aim of bringing back the lost glory of the Bugerere FC that once featured in Uganda topflight league in the 2008/09 season.
Their head Coach, a CAF C license holder, Andama Anderson couldnt hide the excitement of the first win and promised even to do better in their maiden season.
“I am so happy that we won our first game and on away, the win is a boost to the team ahead of our next game ” Says Coach Andama Anderson.
“We lost our first match, so we prepared for this game, we won the three points on road and it’s a motivation to the boys.” He added.
“Yes we have another away game, we are going to prepare for it and see that we get other wins.” Says Bugerere United head coach Andama Anderson.
Bugerere United will again be on road visiting Lukaya TC FC on weekend.
