Bobi Wine Mourns the Death of Archbishop Kizito Lwanga

A day to Easter Sunday when the Christians all over the World celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Shocking sad news covered the Nation when they heard about the abrupt death of outspoken Bishop, Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.

The news that hit media waves this afternoon indicated that the Archbishopsl Lwanga was found dead in his room in the morning.

The inside sources say that the 68 year old Man of God went to his bed with no ailment but they were also shocked  to find out in the morning when the Archbishop of Kampala Diocese is dead.

The church of Uganda released the condolence message this afternoon.

After learning the sad news about the death of a Man of God, National Unity Platform President, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine ran on his social media handles to mourn the death of Lwanga.

“It is a dark day for the Catholic Church. It is a dark day for Uganda.” Message opens,

“I have learnt with great shock about the sudden death of His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese. It will be very hard to cope with this unimaginable loss.

He will be remembered for always speaking out against injustice and oppression. Only yesterday as he joined the faithful to celebrate the way of the cross, he raised his voice yet again and condemned the rampant abductions of our people by the state. Archbishop Lwanga joins several other eminent outspoken religious leaders who have recently died under very unclear circumstances.

May the Lord receive his gentle soul in heaven.” Kyagulanyi Ssentamu on his social media handles.

Lwanga was best known for guiding the government and condemning the bad acts done by the Government officials and he was really against the rampant abductions of innocent Ugandans.

Last Year a one Social media government Critic Lumbuye, in one of his posts he warned Lwanga that if he doesn’t take cover, he might be the Janan Luwum of this generation.
