Bika Netball 2022: Mbogo Silences Bambejja, Nsenene to Propel to Quarters

Mbogo clan, Lugave and Ngabi Nsamba become the first three clans to  storm Quarters of the 2022 Bika Bya Abaganda tourney after week two of action at St Lawrence University ground.

Mbogo had two games on the day, winning both of them to secure six points in group B that helped them to propel to knockout stage.

The Bazukkulu Ba Kayiira beat Bambejja in the opening fixture of the day by 34-30 before humbling Nsenene clan by 43-32.

Mbogo qualified as second in group B which was topped by Ngabi Nsamba with eight points.

The two games they had on Sunday, Ngabi Nsamba beat Ngaali  and Nsenene by 52-44 and 58-22 respectively.

Lugave is another clan that secured a place in quarters, they have eight points so far, though their group C yet to complete the games, but they have an upper hand to top the group even if their group members win their remaining fixtures which will be climaxed on Saturday this week at Buddo SS. 

They are four groups and each will be represented by two best performing teams at the quarter finals.

The tournament will resume on Saturday, 30th, July 2022 at Buddo SS Wakiso, the day will have 12 matches on card.
