Bika By’Abaganda Football Tournament: Format Changes, Groups Revealed

Like other competitions that went in sabbatical due to CoVID-19 Pandemic, the Bika By’Abaganda football tournament wasn’t spared.

The tournament that brings over 50 clans that make up Buganda Kingdom come together and fight for Kabaka’s shield, has bounced back in a new format of play.

On Friday, 27th May at Kooti Ya Kisekwa at Bulange Mengo, the Bika football organizing committee held draws for this year’s edition and the Bika were pitted in eight groups of five and six teams.

The defending champions, Mbogo clan was pitted in group E against, Nvubu, Njovu, Njobe, Ngabi Nyunga, and Nkejje.

The launch of the 2022 edition is slated on 31st May 2022 at Bulange Mengo.

Mpindi, Butiko, Musu, Kasimba, Kiwere,
Lukato.

Group B
Nkima, Balangira, Ntalaganya, Mamba Kakoboza, Kinyomo, Nvuma.

Group C
