All Africa Badminton Senior Championship: Team Uganda Safely Lands in Johannesburg, Learn Opponents

Team Uganda of 10 players and coach, safely landed in Johannesburg South Africa for the forthcoming All Africa Badminton Senior Championship slated to start on Monday 13th February, 2023.

The team touched base in South Africa on Sunday evening and on the same day learnt their group and the opponents.

Uganda pitted in group B with the hosts, South Africa and Mozambique.

According to communication from South Africa, 13 teams will take part in this championship and pitted in four groups of four and three.

Group A has teams; Algeria, Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Lesotho.

Group B; Uganda, South Africa and Mozambique

Group C; Egypt, Zambia and Cameron

Group D; Mauritius, Reunion and Botswana.

The tournament will run between Monday 13th and Sunday 19th February 2023.

Uganda will have much hopes in Brian Kasirye, Husna Kobugabe, Fadilah Shamika and Tracy Naluwooza.
