AISS Games: New Dates Set More Disciplines Added

The Association of Islamic Secondary Schools Games opening date of the third edition was changed and added more disciplines to spice up the competition.

Previously the games were scheduled to be held on 23rd June 2023 but the organizer gave themselves allowance of two days and the rescheduled date is 25th the same month and the venue remained the same, it’s Hamdan Islamic Secondary School in Nakifuma.

With less than three weeks to the D-Day, at least 50 schools confirmed their interest to take part in the 3rd edition of the championship and according to organizers, deadline for registration is 15th June 2023.

After from the dates, changes were also made in competitions, Volleyball discipline was scraped off and the Qur’an competitions added to boys football and netball.

This is targeted as among avenues to create togetherness with in Islamic based schools and it has been in existence since 2019.

The games which has Madina Islamic and Top Times Islamic School as 2019 and 2022 winners, this year will be held at Hamdan Islamic in Nakifuma.
