Today, the Buganda Kingdom Sports Minister, Owek. Henry Ssekabembe officially launched the tickets for the 2021 Masaza Cup Final to be held at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende on Saturday 05th, March 2022.
Now the tickets are on market and the selling points have been revealed by the Minister while holding a press briefing at Bulange Mengo on Tuesday.
The tickets, going for Sh20,000 ordinary and Sh50,000 VIP.
Buddu fans are known to be the ‘crazy fans’ especially on the way to the venue but Minister urged all fans to be calm and to follow all the COVID-19 guidelines even though the lockdown was lifted.
“I want to ensure the whole country that we have done our best in terms of security and it will be very tight. But security starts with you. Make sure you move lightly (not with many things). Be sober, and come and enjoy the match,” Ssekabembe stated.
“Fans let’s have discipline while coming and going back from the Stadium and try to keep the COVID-19 guidelines and situpulated by the ministry of health.” Minister added.
Minister also confirmed that His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom Ronald Muwenda II will grace the final and he will arrive at the venue at exactly 2:40PM before the final game kicks off at 3PM.
At the same event, Kiwanuka Sulaiman, the Nakifuma County Aspiring MP for the 2026 general elections became one of the first individuals to buy tickets for the fans, Kiwanuka today bought tickets worth two million shillings, to which he is going to give to the people of Nakifuma.
“As a sportsperson and a Muganda, there is no way I can shy away from activities of the Buganda kingdom.
“You all know that Sports needs finances, I have worked with Kyaggwe where I injected over 1900 dollars during the period. And I have staked 100 dollars for every goal that will be scored on Saturday.” said Kiwanuka.

His Majesty Kabaka arrives at 2:40pm for the Buwekula Vs Buddu that kicks off at 3pm.
