Masaza Cup 2021: Ssingo Singled out as Kyadondo Bounces Back into Contest in ‘Rob Doba’ Style
News coming in, indicates that, the Kyadondo Ssaza bounced back into 2021 Masaza Cup edition following the win of case petitioned in the Masaza Cup Appeals Committee against decision made by the Organizing Committee.
For starters, Kabula Ssaza fronted a case before the Masaza Organizing Committee pinning, Kyadondo for using ineligible player in Kibumba Edirisa Kasirye in a match played on 27th November 2021 at Njeru Technical Center, a game Masengere group game, Kyadondo won 3-2 against Kabula Ssaza.
In their case, Kabula presented evidence that Kibumba Edirisa before playing for Kyadondo, was a player for Bukedea TC (Black Powers) a FUFA Big League club which is contrary to rules governing Masaza Cup competition.

Kabula won the case which pulled out Kyadondo out of Masaza Cup despite the fact that they collected enough points to take them to quarter finals, which gave Ssingo Ssaza a chance to make it to knock out stage after eight years of searching.
However, like one of their former leaders, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine, Kyadondo never gave up, they petitioned the Appeals Committee claiming that the Organizing Committee never gave them a listening ear, they tabled more evidence to Appeals Committee that is chaired by Omutaka. Kayima Peterson proving that Kibumba never played for Bukedea TC like Kabula claimed.
With no hesitance, the Appeals Committee agreed with Kyadondo evidence tabled and in a rob dobo style, they bounced back in Masaza Cup edition 2021.
This means, Ssingo Ssaza is out of race, Kibumba is now free to play for Kyadondo if they still want to use him and Kyadondo will be playing against Buddu on quarter finals.
