Bika Football: Mbogo Destroys Mpindi’s Garden as Ffumbe Struggle to Edge Mutima Muyanja
The Bika Bya Abaganda football tournament defending champions, Mbogo bounced back to the winning ways with a 1-0 hand found victory against Mpindi in the encounter honored at Buddo SS on Monday.
The only goal for Mbogo that brought them back to winning ways from the surprising defeat against Mmamba Kakoboza was scored by Nyanzi Ronald.
With 2-1 win for Lugave against Mmamba Kakoboza, means the four teams in group B tie on three points after match day two of the group stage games.
To earn the 2-1 victory against Mmamba Kakoboza, George Ssemwogerere’s coached Lugave clan had its goals from
Abraham Ndugwa and Mike Mutyaba while the consolation goal for Mmamba was scored by Isaac Kiberu.
Patrick Kimuli’s Ffumbe clan extended their fine form with a 3-2 hard fought victory against Mutima Muyanja.
Anwar Ntege bagged a brace and Jamir Nvule Kisitu scored his 3rd goal in as many games.
Mutima Muyanja’s goals were scored by Faisal Ddamulira and Musitafa Mujuzi.
While the ten man Mmamba Namakaka managed a 2-1 victory against Kinyomo.
Ronald Nkugwa and Titus Ssematimba were on target for Mmamba Namakaka but the Wakiso Giants striker received matching orders for improper conduct.
Richard Ssekabira pulled one back for Kinyomo.
Ngeye lost 2-1 to Musu at Kawanda SS,
Musa Jjagwe and Sulaiman Mulumba were on target for Musu while Brian Kalumba scored the only goal for Ngeye.
George Ssenkaba and Geoffrey Sserunkuma scored a goal each in Ndiga’s 2-0 victory over Ngoonge.
Simon Peter Ssemayange scored in his own net as Balangira lost 3-2 to Kkobe.
The other two goals for Kkobe were scored by Mustafa Kiragga and Ibrahim Kasinde.
Abdul Lukwata and Raymond Walugembe scored for Balangira
The other game of the day between Nte and Nsenene ended in a goalless stalemate.
