25 Best Players Selected For Scholarship Opportunities As Mbalala SS U-17 Easter Cup Climaxes

Mukono: The three days inaugural Mbalala Secondary School Easter Cup tourney climaxed on Monday, 05, April 2021 and Mbalala Academy crowded the champion after beating Gina Sports Academy by a goal to none on final held at Mbalala SS playground.

Mbalala Academy to reach final first beat Naguru Police Kids Academy 1-0 at semifinal while it’s counterpart, Goma Soccer Academy beat Kaitex Foundation 4-3 via penalty shootouts after a one all draw in open play.

Kayiira Shafik selected as the best impressing player in the tournament and won the MVP accolade while Kasadha Mathias of Naguru Police Kids Academy won the top scorer’s golden boot with four goals.

Muwanguzi Jona of Mbalala SS, was the best goalkeeper while Mbalala Academy’s Yossa Richard chosen as the best defender. And Mukwaya Fortune selected as the best younger player of the tournament.

As it was their target to get the best that will make a strong Mbalala SS school team for Secondary Schools competitions, the organizing committee selected 25 Best players who stand a huge chance to acquire football scholarships.
